Depending on the role you are applying for you may go through every step in our recruitment process or just a few.
Your first step is to complete the online application. You will be asked to upload a resume and a cover letter. Remember to address each of the requirements and criteria specific to the advertised position. There are a handful of questions to complete that will help us understand the type of environment you thrive in and more about your skills and experience.
We assess each application individually and if you are successful in this first process we’ll invite you to a phone interview and then a face to face interview. Our interviews are a mix of behavioural and technical but remember it is a two way street and you are interviewing us as much as we are interviewing you so don’t forget to come armed with questions.
You may be requested to complete some online testing, often this will involve a cognitive ability test, behavioural profiling or emotional intelligence test. You will complete the testing remotely so it is a good idea to find a nice quiet place where you can concentrate.
Background Check and Medical Check
Our final step is a background check and depending on the position you applied for you might be invited to complete a medical check before being offered a role.
Once we have all of your checks back we will be able to move to making an offer of employment to join the Metcash team as one of our M-Powered employees!
