Matt Swallow, Store Manager at Total Tools Brooklyn in Victoria, is one of our many beloved leaders across the Total Tools retail network. What sets Matt apart is his fierce advocacy for his team, driven by his personal motto: “Their success is my success.” In only a short time leading the Brooklyn store, he has been instrumental in many career conversations, helping guide team members on their development journeys.
Matt didn’t start out as a retail guru; his background is actually as a tradesman. When he wanted to make a move in his career, Total Tools was the perfect place for him to stay in touch with the industry he loves while working in a whole new capacity. From receiving to sales and into management over three years, Matt said, “It’s been a big period of growth for me in a short period of time, but the backing I’ve received has been incredible.”
